 This is the deadline for registering to vote or changing your political party affiliation before the April 3, 2012 Presidential primary.  For more information, see http://www.elections.state.md.us/voter_registration/index.html.

Citizens registered with the Democratic and Republican parties wiill choose their party candidates for the offices of US President  today, along with a MD Senator and members of the House of Representatives. All registered voters (regardless of party affiliation) may vote in local Board of Education races. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. If you are in line at 8 p.m., you will still be allowed to vote.

 Remember that you can attend any unit meeting that is at a time and place convenient for you. If the unit is new to you, it is good to call the unit leader so she knows you are interested and can let you know if there is any last-minute change. Also, you need to be a League member to have your vote counted for the consensus, but all are welcome to attend.
